How do I purchase Lab Test On Demand tests?

Find the tests or panels you are interested in. Click the lab tests windows available or If you’re looking for a specific lab test, you can search for it in our “Categories” or “Individual Tests” windows. Once you have found a test or panel you are interested in click “Add to Cart”.

If you already have an account with us, please sign In; otherwise, please register . Schedule your appointment for your lab tests or, you may skip this step if you want to walk in. You must have an account with us if you want to purchase our services. Lab Test On Demand will securely provide your lab test results to you.

Finish your lab tests purchase by adding your payment information. When your purchase is complete a confirmation page will be sent to you via email and you can print a copy as your receipt. You can login into your account any time to review or print your order details and receipt by going to “My Profile”. Please bring your order with you when you visit a Quest Diagnostics location for your lab tests.

Do I need to schedule an appointment for testing?

It is not necessary to schedule an appointment at the lab, but it will save you time.

Walk ins are welcome and just bear in mind that our locations are busiest in the early morning as fasting patients chose this time more often, experience show that your wait time may be shorter after 10 a.m.

Why must I have a “My Profile” account to purchase lab tests?

Lab Test On Demand must be able to securely deliver your lab test results to you, that is why we ask you to please sign into your “My Profile” account. If you don’t have one, you will be prompted to register and create one.

Have in mind you may receive notifications requesting that you verify your identity or authorize that your lab test results be delivered to your “My Profile” account.

Will I be able to understand the lab tests results ?

Lab Test On Demand will provide your test results information, it is your responsibility to ask your doctor what your tests results mean. Lab Test On Demand urges you to share your results with your doctor in order to make the best decisions for your health.

What test should I purchase? What if I have a specific condition?

Lab Test On Demand can’t tell you what tests to buy. You will find that our tests are well explained on our website, if you have a doubt as to what test to choose, we recommend to contact your doctor, our website will explain any pre-testing or preparation requirements.

How can I find one Doctor if I don’t have one?

  • Contact your insurance provider to help you find a doctor in your network.
  • Visit a local hospital website.
  • Search an online physician referral site.

Are there any states where I can't purchase testing online from Lab Test On Demand?

Lab Test On Demand offers online lab test testing you can purchase for yourself in all states except NY, NJ and CT.

Can I purchase tests under other name than my own? Can I purchase tests for a minor that I am responsible for?

No. Laboratory tests must be performed on the person whose name is on the order. When you arrive to a Lab with your order, they will verify ID to know that you are the person who purchased the test. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a service from Lab Test On Demand.

I already have a doctor’s order. Can I still order with LTC?

Yes. Just remember to present your Lab Test On Demand’s order and not your doctor’s order when arriving to your lab appointment, otherwise they will charge you again for the tests.

Do I have to pay anything else at the lab?

No. When using Lab Test On Demand our prices are all inclusive, no further fees or payments are required at the lab.

Are there any dietary restrictions to get tested?

Some blood tests require that you fast before having your blood drawn or your urine sample. Fasting or other diet requirements are detailed in the description of your test or panel.

How do I get my lab test results?

You can get your lab tests results through “My Profile”, at our secure online portal. Results are delivered directly to “My Profile” on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop. You will receive an email notification when your results are ready.

How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment in the lab?

Please call your chosen lab location to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Canceling your appointment does not cancel your lab test order, they are valid until you make another appointment.

The confirmation code that is generated with your rescheduled appointment is different than the order number associated with your Lab Test On Demand purchase.

Please bring your Lab Test On Demand order number or a copy of your order to your appointment.

Who will have access to my lab test results?

By having to login to your account we are guaranteeing that only you will be able to download, print or share your results with whomever you choose. To protect your privacy, your results will not be shared with your primary doctor or anyone else unless you decide to share them directly.

How long does it take to get my lab test results?

Your lab test results will be available in “My Profile” a few days after your visit to the lab. You will receive an email when the results have been released—usually within a couple of days, depending on the test performed, but this time depends on the test that is performed.

How do I know the meaning of my test results?

Lab Test On Demand will provide clear test result information, but we urge you to share your results with your doctor in order to make the best decisions for your health.

I received an email notification that my lab test results are ready, but I cannot see them in “My Profile”. What should I do?

You can try to refresh your browser to see if your lab test result appears. If you are still unable to see your lab test results, please contact us through our toll free number.

What if my results don’t arrive in my “My Profile” account?

Please wait at least 7 days to allow for any processing delays that may occur. If after 7 days you still don’t have your results, please contact Lab Test On Demand either by email or by calling our toll free number.

Will my insurance cover lab testing that I purchase through Lab Test On Demand?

Services purchased through Lab Test On Demand are the patient’s responsibility, Lab Test On Demand is unable to bill your insurance (Including Medicare or Medicaid). You may be able to submit the expenses associated with this testing to your insurance provider. Please check with them to see if these expenses are eligible for reimbursement under your plan.

Do you accept credit cards or debit cards?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards, payment is due at the time of test selection and you will receive an invoice reflecting your payment.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. We use a system that encrypts your credit card number, name, and address information so only Lab Test On Demand is able to decode your information.

What if tests were not performed or if I cancel my appointment?

You can always request a refund for the amount of the test you purchased minus a small administrative fee. Lab Test On Demand services can be canceled anytime prior to specimen collection.

You can have your testing performed at any time within 6 months of your purchase. Just reschedule at a lab near you and remember to bring your Lab Test On Demand order number or a copy of your order the day of your visit.
