Menopause

Menopause is the time in a woman’s life when her period stops. It usually occurs naturally, most often after age 45. Menopause happens because the woman’s ovaries stop producing the hormones estrogen and progesterone.
Menopause shows itself with some common, normal signs including irregular periods, hot flashes, vaginal dryness, sleep disturbances, and mood swings—all results of unevenly changing levels of ovarian hormones (estrogen) in your body.

All our menopause tests and panels are offered to assess menopause to understand it and manage it.

Panels:

Estradiol Test (E2)

Estradiol Test is a  blood test  to check estradiol levels and is one of the most common fertility tests.

The Estradiol Test checks for sexual and ovarian function in women to assess infertility, abnormal menstruation or symptoms of menopause. Estradiol Test helps you check your Estradiol (known also as E2) levels to determine your ovaries’ ability to produce eggs (known as  ovarian reserve).
In men, Estradiol helps maintain sperm cell health.

Price: $49.00

Progesterone, Immunoassay Test

Progesterone Test can help you check on ovulation or possible fertility problems, make sure everything is OK if you're already pregnant, or help find out why you have abnormal bleeding from your uterus.

Some people may call it this test a “serum progesterone” test.

Price: $48.00

LH Test: Luteininzing Hormone Test

LH Test or Luteinizing Hormone Test measures how much luteinizing hormone a person has in their blood. This is a hormone with key roles in both male and female reproductive systems.

Luteinizing Hormone (LH) is involved in many bodily processes, including pregnancy, puberty, and ovulation. LH levels increase or decrease at various points during these cycles.

Price: $44.00

FSH Test: Follicle Stimulating Hormone Test

FSH Test measures Follicle Stimulating Hormone, a hormone associated with reproduction and the development of eggs in women and sperm in men.
FSH is made by the pituitary gland, a small organ located in the center of the head behind the sinus cavity at the base of the brain.
