Aldosterone Test measures Aldosterone Hormone levels in the blood.

Aldosterone is a hormone that plays a big role in keeping your blood pressure in check.

Aldosterone balances the levels of sodium and potassium in your body. It signals to your organs, like your colon and kidneys, to put more sodium into your bloodstream or release more potassium into your pee.

When the level of aldosterone in your body is out of whack, it could lead to other health issues, including damage to your heart, brain, and kidneys.

Cortisol Test aids in the diagnosis of adrenal disorders, such as Addison’s disease and Cushing’s Disease. Cortisol is a hormone produced by the adrenal gland and regulated by the Pituitary Gland. It plays an important role in regulating metabolism, blood pressure, blood sugar and the immune system.

Cortisol levels are important as they help the body maintain functions such as: Blood pressure, glucose levels, immune response and stress management.

DHEA Sulfate Test measures DHEA’s levels in the blood.

DHEA -S (Dehydroepiandrosterone Sulfate) assists in the development of certain male sexual characteristics at puberty.

This test helps evaluate women with excess facial hair or other male characteristics and also assess fertility and lack of menstrual periods. Elevated DHEA could be a consequence of an Adrenal tumor.

The test helps understand certain symptoms like weakness, low energy, low sex drive and infertility.
