Measles Antibody Test (IgG)

Measles (Rubeola) antibodies can be measured, this test is performed as part of an immunization screening.

The presence of Rubeola antibodies in the blood is a signal that the person either has the disease, had it in the past or was vaccinated against it.

Health care organizations, work places and schools require this test as proof of immunization to Measles.

Measles causes fever, irritability, respiratory illness and the characteristic skin rash

Preparation: Fasting is not necessary for this test.
