Estradiol Test (E2)

Estradiol Test measures the level of Estradiol (E2) in the blood.

Estradiol is a very important hormone for both women and men. Estradiol acts in the growth and maintenance of organs related to sex and fertility.

The Estradiol Test checks for sexual and ovarian function in women to assess infertility, abnormal menstruation or symptoms of menopause.

In men, Estradiol helps maintain sperm cell health.

Preparation: Fasting is not necessary for this test, if possible have the lab collected early in the morning.
